Although I'm interested in fine art photography, I'm still more a hunter, eventually trying to become a cook. Citing from Henri Cartier Bresson: Actually, I'm not all that interested in the subject of photography. Once the picture is in the box, I'm not all that interested in what happens next. Hunters, after all, aren't cooks.
Susan Sontag's claim "...to photograph is to frame, and to frame is to exclude" gives me the courage to exclude things, even if the framing of Eddie Adams has caused a change in history.
Werner Bischof's picture from Peru reminds me of the kind of photograghy I really want to explore further, as a childhood dream maybe, who knows? Here one of my images of India while thinking of Werner Bischof.
